Laurelglen Elementary School History
Laurelglen Elementary School first opened its doors to students in the fall of 1985 and was named after the subdivision where the present school site is located. The Laurelglen Tennis Club was one of the first establishments built in the area and eventually the surrounding land was subdivided for housing and the area became known as “Laurelglen.” The school was built on a nine-acre site situated between Ming Avenue on the North and White Lane on the South, and approximately one block east of Gosford Road. The school has 18 permanent classrooms, 15 portable classrooms, a library, a PBIS/SEL Game Room, a cafeteria/multipurpose room, and a daycare center
